Lancaster is a French leather goods brand. Founded in the heart of Paris during the 1990s, it has developed throughout France and today internationally. The figures who embody it, notably the artistic director, have remained the same since its creation.

Lancaster is a leather goods brand. We therefore offer bags of all types (tote bags, satchels, backpacks, clutches...), small leather goods (wallets, coin purses...), luggage, for Women and for Men, but also accessories (nourishing balm, cleansing milk...).

Should I waterproof my full-grain leather bag?

Our full-grain cowhide leather is a raw, supple, and high-quality material. It is only protected by a thin layer of aniline which ensures its suppleness and authenticity. If you wish, you can waterproof your leather bags to further protect them from external elements. We then advise you to seek the opinion of a specialist cobbler who will guide you towards good suitable products. But note that this step is not essential because the quality of leather lies above all in the uniqueness of its natural wear and its evolution, alongside you, over time. These variations in color and texture will give it a charm most appreciated by connoisseurs. You can find all the necessary information for the maintenance of your bag in our "Leather Care" section.

Are Lancaster bags made in France?

Lancaster manufactures some of its products in France and remains faithful and sensitive to the tradition of its leather craftsmanship, which is increasingly rare. However, it has also opened up to manufacturing abroad for some of its models. Our specifications and quality control follow pre-established and strict standards without variation depending on their place of manufacture. In the same spirit of fairness, we obviously use the same quality raw material regardless of the place of manufacture of our leather goods.

If my Lancaster bag needs repair but is no longer under warranty, what can I do?

If your item is damaged and a repair is possible, a quote will be proposed to you. Initially, we invite you to preferably contact the boutique where the product was purchased. If you bought it via the online store or cannot contact the boutique of your purchase, please contact the After-Sales Service at the following address: sav@lancaster.com, attaching your email with supporting photos.

Do Lancaster bags ever go on sale?

Some Lancaster products can indeed be discounted during sales or for other events, whether in-store or online, by our resellers or ourselves.

I can't place an order on the online store, what can I do?

First of all, be aware that you can order from the European Union, the DOM TOM, Africa, Oceania, and Asia. You will have a comprehensive list when you proceed to checkout.

How many days will it take to receive a Lancaster bag ordered from the online store?

If you order on our e-shop before noon (12 PM) your package will be shipped the same day, otherwise, it will leave our warehouse the next day. Once it leaves our premises, depending on the chosen delivery method, you will be delivered: - between 48h to 72h with Colissimo - between 24h to 48h with DHL Express and 2 to 5 days for DHL Worldwide. These times are considered for handling from Monday to Friday and for delivery from Monday to Friday, except on public holidays.

What is the procedure to follow for a return?

After placing your order, a shipping confirmation email with your Colissimo or Chronopost tracking number is sent to you. Attached to this email, you will find your invoice as well as a return form that we invite you to print and fill out.
